Addicted to my sewing machine : contrast stitches

So , one week ago , i found two vintage classic spring coats in a yard sales (3€ each)  ( here ).
I transform the black one : shorter , with a white contrast stitch to accentuate the a-line shape.

 ... next step will be the navy one .

In the street and garage sales : june 2013

In the street ... hundreds  of vintage magazines ( Marie Claire , Elle , Paris Match , Time , Echo de la mode ... from 1949 to 1973 ... class by date ! I sort for two days and i haven't done yet  ! ) and this nice Teppaz paper bag .

Yard sales : vintage rain coats  , lambswool sweaters ( I have a weakness for this material ) , pompom scarf , records (The Equals , David Bowie, Alice Cooper) , brooch  and key ring  ( anchor , fish , toothpaste and toothbrush  )   , and a vinyl rain hat with a bow .

Romantisme du velours noir éclairé de broderie anglaise

Robe en velours. Le volant qui compose le jabot ponctué de boutons est en broderie anglaise comme le col rabattu et les revers des manches. Des pinces obliques galbent le devant coupé d’une découpe de taille et d’une couture. Le dos est fixé par une fermeture à glissière.
